SNOW
1st February 2009.
Things started badly. Graham whacked your author in the face with a huge hawthorn branch (accidentally of course - or so Graham says).
After being reassured that 10 stitches were not needed, a quick wipe with spit and a dirty leaf, your very brave author, very bravely, soldiered on.

Morons
We had a slight hiatus when a couple (a man with his son) arrived on cross country motor bikes. We had some trouble convincing them they they were NOT allowed to ride motorised vehicles on the walk without permission.
We are opening up areas to allow plants to grow in the new found light. We have also planted some native species to help them get re-established.
This idiot (who should have known better) thought he was above the law to ride wherever he wants and do as he liked.
We are being un-selfish to the point of lunacy (especially in this weather) and morons like him try to ride all our work into the dirt. GRRRRRR.
Trudi glowing in the snow.

Ron got close to the fire to warm his hands ..

And ended up looking like a demented Native American ..
