WET WET WET..

8th March 2009.

Things started badly (again!).
Graham whacked your author in the face (again! - see 1st Feb 2009 for previous assault) with a huge branch (accidentally of course - or so Graham says - again etc etc).
I'm getting used to it now.

Herr Kommandant Ron is now making his prisoners work in the muddiest parts of the walk.

Some of them could not bear their faces to be seen because of the shame of working in the chain-gang.

Trudi had to dispense with her normal coutre millinery for a NOT Philip-Treacy designed rain bonnet.

Achievements

Despite the conditions, we cleared a lot of the over-hanging trees and bushes that had been shading this particularly wet part of the walk. We expect this to help dry the path and allow a better place to walk (and work) for everyone.

The BEST bit however was a letter from the Leire Council clerk who said "..thank you for the work .. it has been appreciated by many .."

Everyone of the volunteers say "Thank you and YOU ARE WELCOME".

Funny Bit - Dog wee

Doncha love dog walkers? Take a dog off the lead and Rons Rucksack on the floor.
Dogs need to mark their territory, so it did. Rons Rucksack now belongs to that dog.

Goto the Gallery - 8th March 2009 for more pictures from today or start looking at the Video collection.
