31st January 2010

Temp: 0°C
In my previous posting I mentioned the snow had gone, well, surprise surprise, it snowed again this morning (although only a little bit).

Your humble authors car said 1 degree at the car park. As usual it was even colder down in the walk.

We were joined by Paul today - thanks Paul for coming down.

The Jubilee Walk Leire on 21st January 2010

When I convert this site to a Wordpress blog site I WILL have a caption competition!

Maudie fetching a ball.

Maudie was on full form today. Matthew found a tennis ball and had great fun throwing it for Maudie to chase. At one point she was up the newly cleared bank wagging her tail in delight at having found the ball.
(For those of you who haven't been following the site - Maudie is your humble authors partner - a 40 something professional graphic designer!!)

Carrying on the caption competition theme...

Ron shouldn't get so close to the fire with wind this bad.

Lunch

Every time a walker comes past we seem to be having a cuppa or wolfing down lunch.
I thought I should share with you what your humble author had for his snack today...

Your humble authors sandwich at The Jubilee Walk Leire on 31st January 2010

You can find the recipe here.

And finally the signature final shot of the day...

The Jubilee Walk Leire on 17th January 2010

Notice a theme developing here? See the links to 13th Dec 2009. and 17th Jan 2010.

P.S.

PS: We were stopped in the car park by a nice man on a bike by the name of Andy.
Andy asked if he could help. YES YES YES.
Andy, if you are reading this we look forward to seeing you on the 14th February. We realise the importance of the date, so if you can't make it, don't worry, we will be back on the 28th Feb. Email Mike if you have any questions.

Enjoy the site, but more importantly come and enjoy the Jubilee Walk.
