CARNAGE AT THE JUBILEE WALK

In late November 2007 the volunteers slash and burn even more of The Jubilee Walk.

By clearing the trees and scrub we are allowing more light into the walk.

Bringing more light means ..
Drier paths
Higher bio-diversity
Areas where we can place benches
More places to walk
Exposing the original features

We just love doing this (ok we are slightly selfish in that we get some fun and excersise every couple of Sundays).

Only people with the Leire Councils express permission can cut down anything at The Jubilee Walk.
It may look like fun to just chop anything down and burn it, but we are led by an RHS member who knows exactly what can and can't be cut down.
It may not look like it, but every tree, bush or flower is identified and noted and we cannot touch a thing until Ron says so.
