VOLUNTEERS AT THE JUBILEE WALK

There is a hardcore of 6 Volunteers headed by Ron.

From Left to Right - Trudie, Graham, Ron and Jill.

We are led by a member of the RHS. Ron is one of the few people in the UK who has a licence to spread wild flower seed into areas where it is appropriate and relevant and local.

It may look like vandalism, but it is not.

We are very aware of what we are doing and not only have the permission of the local council, but the guidance of a long standing member of the Royal Horticultual Society.

If you have any queries or worries or complaints, please email me Mike with your concerns.

Yes I know there are only 4 people in the picture..
Yours truly was taking the picture and Matthew was unable to join us this day.

Ron is a member of the Royal Horticultural Society and an expert on all kinds of plants. He has led many guided walks over the years and if he doesn't know the name of a plant - no one will!

The rest of us just love chopping down trees and burning them.

Aims

Our aim is to provide a pleasant walk by opening spaces to encourage a larger diversity of Plants, Birds, Dragonflies and Butterflies and Fungi.

We also aim to improve the paths to make The Jubilee Walk more accessible all year round.

We meet almost every other Sunday (come rain or shine) and would love you to come and meet us, or even lend us your services for an hour or two.
Email me, Mike, for more information.

Only people with the Leire Councils express permission can cut down anything at The Jubilee Walk.
It may look like fun to just chop anything down and burn it, but we are led by an RHS member who knows exactly what can and can't be cut down.
It may not look like it, but every tree, bush or flower is identified and noted and we cannot touch a thing until Ron says so.
